On June 29, 2024, the EFL Medical Worker Cross Salon with the theme of "Cross-integration, efficient empowerment" was successfully held in Beijing Xijiao Hotel. The salon brought together elites in cutting-edge fields such as biomedical materials, bio-3D printing, tissue repair and regeneration, aiming to transform the academic conference dominated by "listening" into a themed salon in the form of "free exchange and collision of ideas". The salon planned to recruit 100 people, and the actual number of attendees exceeded 150.
In the first half of Salon, EFL and Scientific Compass team conducted an in-depth discussion on the application of photocured hydrogels and their biological and physicochemical properties characterization. EFL Materials R&D Manager explained in detail the principle of photocured hydrogels, the main categories and their wide application in wound, cartilage, nerve and other fields, revealing the huge potential of photocured hydrogels for the attendees. In addition, two teachers of Science Compass, Tian Shulong and Wei Yangyang, respectively shared the biosafety evaluation and cryo-scanning electron microscopy characterization methods of hydrogels, providing new ideas and methods for the research of related topics.
Dr. Gao Qing, co-founder of EFL, shared the brand concept of EFL. In view of the various pain points of regenerative medicine research, EFL carried out a full-link service of "science popularization → service research → help transformation" to efficiently empower the whole link of regenerative medicine from research to transformation.
Invited presentation
Professor Liu Wenguang of Tianjin University, Professor He Yong of Zhejiang University, Professor Kong Deling of Nankai University, and Dr. Liu Qing, chairman of Beijing Amet Medical Device Co., LTD., respectively made the topics of "Research Progress of medical adhesives", "Bio-3D printing in vitro Construction of functional bionic tissue", "Vascularization Research in regenerative Medicine", and "3D printing technology in cardiovascular and biomedical science Application "topic report. During the report, the young teachers and four speakers discussed common topics such as the challenges faced by cross-disciplinary research, the balance between scientific research and transformation, and the excavation of topic inspiration. The whole process was highly collision in thinking and the scene atmosphere was active.
EFL adheres to the values of "integration, co-creation, efficiency and win-win", and looks forward to working hand in hand with more experts and scholars in the future to jointly promote the development of the cross-field of medicine and industry!
