On July 7, 2024, the EFL Medical Cross Salon with the theme of "Cross-integration, Efficient empowerment" was successfully held in South China University of Technology (International Campus), Guangzhou. This salon is mainly for young scholars to discuss the common problems that young scholars will encounter in scientific research, aiming to transform the academic conference based on "listening" into a theme salon in the form of "free exchange and collision of ideas". More than 30 young teachers from colleges and universities and young doctors from hospitals were invited to participate in the salon. At the same time, many excellent master and doctoral students volunteered to participate in the salon, and the actual number of participants exceeded 70.
Dr. Gao Qing, co-founder of EFL, shared the brand concept of EFL. In view of the various pain points of regenerative medicine research, EFL carried out a full-link service of "science popularization → service research → help transformation" to efficiently empower the whole link of regenerative medicine from research to transformation.
Invited presentation
Professor Bian Liming from South China Institute of Technology, Professor He Limin from the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, Professor He Yong from Zhejiang University, and Professor Guo Rui from Jinan University respectively made research on "Hyperdynamic structural hydrogel Regulation of 3D cultured stem cells mechanical Perception Promotes tissue regeneration", "Polypeptide-based tissue fusion hydrogel Repair spinal cord injury", "3D bioprinting Construction of functional bionic tissue in vitro", and "Water" Research on the application of gels to tissue regeneration and the preliminary practice of medical transformation ". During the report, the young teachers and four speakers discussed topics such as the challenges facing medical and industrial cross-research, the correlation between medical and industrial cross-research and national macro policies, the development speed of 3D printing technology, and the focus of scientists' entrepreneurship. The whole session was highly collision and the scene atmosphere was active.
EFL adheres to the values of "integration, co-creation, efficiency and win-win", and looks forward to working hand in hand with more experts and scholars in the future to jointly promote the development of the cross-field of medicine and industry!
